A Natural Quiff is without a doubt one of the more popular ‘modern classics’ in barbershops across the world. In this How to Cut and Style, George Coady, Owner of Trait Barbershop and Uppercut Deluxe Barber Ambassador, walks us through his approach to a Natural Quiff.
A Natural Quiff is all about achieving a casual look with lots of texture and lift. It’s a style that can be worn anywhere from the office to the bar, and the best thing is that, with the right products, it is an easy look to recreate without too much fuss.
George is a bit of a guru when it comes to Natural Quiffs, always managing to highlight the natural movement of the customers hair and pairing the quiff with a tight fade that perfectly compliments the overall style. Though, one of our favourite things about George’s barbering, is his ability to use products creatively.
In this How To, George uses a dab of Easy Hold as a prestyler. Easy Hold is a lightweight cream that, when used as a prestyler, will add hold and enhance texture in the hair. To finish, George uses a dusting of Styling Powder. This combination will allow the hair to remain flexible, while maintaining a solid level of hold.
